If you couldn't believe it leaving Fiji, Erin Brooks made a believer out of the professional surfing world once more with a third consecutive CT victory. Brooks proved she could handle heaving barrels and matched that with proper progression to overtake Gabriela Bryan in the Final at Lowers with a 7.00 on her backhand attack. The 19-year-old now joins the likes of surfing's GOAT Stephanie Gilmore and 5x World Champion Carissa Moore with three-straight CT wins.
