Officers are voting members of the VLA Board, elected by the membership during the annual meeting, which is held each spring. The Vice President/President-elect position is the first year of a three-year cycle as Vice President, President, and immediate past president. The Secretary and Treasurer positions are two-year terms, staggered with each other. See the Board Position Descriptions page for complete details.
