I'm Katy, a fashion and textile historian specializing in the early modern period, an enthusiastic performer, and all around creative type who loves to play dress up and can't seem to stop buying books. I have a deep passion for everything I do, from quietly reading about eighteenth-century fashion to singing an aria in a huge auditorium. I have a BA in Dramatic Arts with a minor in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (class of 2011), and an MA in Visual Culture: Costume Studies from New York University (class of 2013).
