Maggie Long is the Associate Athletic Director for Development at Rutgers University. Previously an Assistant Athletic Director, Long was promoted to her current position “On the Banks” in September 2016. In her current role, Long will continue to oversee R Fund, the Rutgers Athletics annual giving program, and serve in a leadership role specifically involved with determining fundraising priorities, campaign strategies, hiring decisions, and budget planning. As the Assistant Athletic Director of Development for R Fund, Long oversaw the R Fund, which saw exponential growth between 2014 and 2016 following Rutgers’ transition into the Big Ten.
