About stopclustermunitions.org
The International Campaign to Ban Landmines - Cluster Munition Coalition (ICBL-CMC) is a global network of civil society organizations working towards the elimination of these indiscriminate weapons. We played a key role in the successful negotiation and adoption of the Mine Ban Treaty in 1997 and the Convention on Cluster Munitions in 2008. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, including human rights, development, peace and disarmament, and work together to advocate for the universalization and implementation of these treaties, raise awareness about the devastating humanitarian impact of the weapons, and provide support to affected communities.
