In 2016, I started dipping my toes into some independent contract work. I still kept one foot in a door that provided me mentorship and guidance from exceptionally seasoned occupational therapists, but having a little independence was exciting. I have always been the type to do more, reach for more, and keep pushing to something new. After having a little taste of independence, I decided to create my own LLC. In 2019, KP Therapy & Wellness was born! It was fun to play with this new adventure and see what I could do. And then life excitement also happened – I got married, the global pandemic happened, and I had babies! A husband and 2 kids later I got the itch again to build.
