I’m the Lead Pastor at Bethel Church in Jackson, Michigan. God has allowed me to be in vocational ministry for 45 years. I started preaching at 14 and pastored a little country church while I was in high school (They were kind, patient, farm people who loved my youthful enthusiasm and overlooked many faults). My ambition in life is to follow Jesus and help others follow Jesus. My ambition in ministry is to be a faithful “village parson” to the flock at Bethel and the people in our community. My wife Lois and I have been married since 1979 and have four sons, four daughters and a growing number of grandchildren.
