I have never been to therapy before, what can I expect? Most of the people I have ever seen had no previous therapy experience. It’s my job to put you at ease and help you get started. So just show up and be yourself. We will have a conversation in which we will be trying to find out what you need. Some people come in and worry about having to make an organized presentation of themselves. I’d prefer you not worry about that, just start anywhere and I will ask questions when I need to know something. Naturally we will be interested in what brings you in.
