In 1982, Richard Drucker introduced to the industry a colored gemstone pricing guide, now known as GemGuide. In 1985, wholesale diamond prices were added to the publication, making it the most comprehensive pricing guide in the industry. The publication, which is recognized as the industry leader for gem pricing and market information, is used for valuation and information in more than 40 countries by jewelers, appraisers and as a reference in legal cases involving valuation. Gemworld staff has appeared as expert witness and has acted as consultants in several gemstone pricing legal cases.
