Who are Finlay’s Friends? Finlay’s Friends is a charitable organisation (Charity number SC046675) set up in memory of Finlay Bennett, of Touch Primary School Dunfermline, who died suddenly on the 30th July 2014 from Meningitis at the Yorkhill Children’s Hospital, now the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. Finlay was only 8 years old but in his short life he had always put the needs of others before himself. To honour his kindness and to support other families who experience similar situations to Finlay’s family, Finlay’s Friends aims to provide support when it is most needed.
