AI already writes most of the software at the leading AI labs, is beginning to run its own research, and is redefining cybersecurity. Before long, it will disrupt labour markets, warfare, and the global balance of power. The last time a technology changed life as completely as AI is about to, we called it an Industrial Revolution.
