Eliza Modiste is an American small town romance author who lives in Ladysmith, British Columbia with her husband, daughter, and an abundance of animals. Accountant by day and writer by night, she lives to mesh her characters together in ways that make her audience say things ranging from, “That’s hilarious,” to, “Kiss, dammit,” or, “Oh, God, don’t die.” What thrills Eliza most within her writing is all things spicy, laugh-out-loud banter, gasp-worthy suspense, and plot twists that could end in death and destruction.
