Economist Nash The job market for new grads is already bad and the cost of undergrad at a decent university is ridiculous. Research budgets have gotten cut. But at least schools still have a fun social scene. The Cornell 7 media frenzy is about to destroy that too. University administrations will overreact and crack down on social life, just as they did during peak MeToo hysteria. Frats will get demonized and college dating will become less frequent. Extroverted men with family money will have no need for college anymore and will check out entirely. They never came for the classes in the first place (they paid a fortune primarily for the party life and the networking).
