特別支援教育デザイン研究会は、平成17年度「子どもゆめ基金」(独立行政法人国立青少年教育振興機構)の教材開発・普及活動に参加するため結成された特別支援教育研究実践委員会から運営を引継ぎ、障害のある子どもの自立と社会参加を目的に、特別支援教育に関わる教職員や保護者、地域のボランティアへの支援の一環として、様々な専門家の連携により教材開発と普及に取り組んでいます。
