About computer-arts-society.com
The Computer Arts Society (CAS) was founded in 1968 to promote understanding of the role of digital and electronic media in the arts. A central aim is to ensure that the long history of computer art is recognised by contemporary artists, technologists, audiences and collectors. CAS organises events, talks and exhibitions, and uses social media to demonstrate the value of digital and electronic technologies within the creative sector. Following its 50th anniversary in 2018, the society renewed its commitment to supporting contemporary digital practice and providing a forum where audiences of all ages and backgrounds can meet and exchange ideas.
