Centro Cardiologico Monzino was founded in 1981 and it is the first hospital in Europe dedicated exclusively to the research, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Thanks to its commitment on cardiovascular health, Monzino is able to perform per year more than 1,500 surgeries, 80,000 specialist examinations and 113,000 major diagnostic tests, with a high level of success and reliability. Research activities are fully integrated with clinical departments, to translate as quickly as possible scientific results into new approaches for prevention, diagnosis, and patient care.
