About brooklynpoets.org
We offer workshops, readings, open mics and other programs that foster a more homegrown, close-knit, diverse community of poets and readers than what is traditionally offered by graduate writing programs and the American literary community at large. Since our inception, we’ve held over 350 workshops, serving 3,200+ students—including 280 fellows and 210 fellowship finalists who were able to attend for free or reduced cost.
