About bettynansen.dk
The world is not simple – and neither should theatre be. With Niels Erling and Nanna Jelsgaard as its new artistic director duo, a new chapter begins at Betty Nansen Teatret. Together, they want to create a theatre that dares to engage with the world we live in and insists that we can understand it better. Together. At Betty, we create critical contemporary theatre that gets under your skin, creates friction and challenges the truths we take for granted. Here, the world is allowed to be complicated, and for one evening, we can step into someone else’s point of view without necessarily having to agree.
