About bedingtonumc.org
Methodism dates back to 1790 in Bedington. The first church was built of stone in the early 1800's, located close to the old Bedington school on the north west side of the Sulphur Spring. "The Old Stone" church served the community until 1869 when it was torn down and replaced by the "Southern Methodist Church." In 1908, our present church building was built and dedicated.
