About avianunderdogs.org
Avian Underdogs Rescue Association (AURA) is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in Southern California. AURA is building an association of people and resources to assure that birds in our locale that are sick, injured, and/or orphaned are able to get the care they need in order to survive. At the present time, we do not take in protected wildlife species for which state/federal permits are required but rather the true “underdogs” of the avian world who have nowhere else to go for help.
