About atalayasar.org
Atalaya Search and Rescue is one of two MRA-accredited technical rescue teams in the state of New Mexico. We operate in vertical and near-vertical terrain and utilize vertical raises and lowers, guiding lines, high lines, and cross hauls to safely extricate injured or stuck subjects from hard-to-reach places. We most frequently train on our high angle systems to maintain this critical capability for NM SAR responses.
