About arnoldtrembley.com
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1951, graduated from Webster Groves High School in 1969, and from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, in 1973 (B.S. in English, minor in Anthropology). I also earned a Certificate in Data Processing from Florissant Valley Community College in 1979. I was a professional programmer until 2016, primarily in COBOL in manufacturing and then financial applications in an IBM System 370 Mainframe environment (now System Z). I have worked primarily with the MVS/ESA operating system (later called OS/390 and now z/OS) and CICS through CICS /Transaction Server 5.x.
