「花と味覚と歴史のまち」厚岸町。北海道東部に位置し、春には桜、夏には紫色一色のヒオウギアヤメが楽しめます。豊かな自然にも恵まれており、牡蠣、アサリ、サンマなど、たくさんの種類の魚介類が一年を通して水揚げされます。歴史も古く、江戸幕府により建設された「国泰寺」もあり、五感で楽しむことができる魅力的なまちです。
