About afrohorror.com
If I had a dollar for every time I heard, “Black people don’t like horror”, I would the richest woman in all the land. Black audiences have always loved horror. However, horror has not always loved us back. From the sacrificial best friend to the spiritual negro, Black stereotypes in mainstream horror have not only been harmful to our culture but detrimental to the progression of the genre. Luckily, we have a long history of Black creators who have etched out their own columns and this podcast was created to celebrate them.
